Hi 209 KP families,
It is the last day of January. Saturday is Ground Hogs Day! Only 6 weeks of winter ahead of us, if the Ground Hog sees his shadow. Maybe, it's if he doesn't see his shadow, we have 6 weeks. Who cares! It's sunny out, and we can go outside because the Arctic Vortex weather system is gone!
We have been misplacing our outside clothing. It is a very huge help if you mark your kids clothes. You know how many pairs of black snow pants we see? I don't have that answer, but I can count how many are not black, three!
Mittens are a problem, too. Mittens should be water-proof and warm. Little knit gloves or leather driving gloves do not do the trick. Spending an hour outside digging requires warm, protective gear.
February 14 is not only Valentines Day , it is an Early Release Day. No PM Kindergarten. If you need care register online. If you are a regular Friday PM kid you are already signed up. If you miss the 2 week deadline for online registration, we will have a sign-up outside the room.
